Making a Quick Contact Call
The following steps explain how to make a quick contact
call:

At Home screen, press .
2 Press the number through the Alphanumeric
keypad and press the PTT button to make a call.

Scan
Scan allows you to monitor other channels to detect
conversations. When the radio detects a transmission, it
stops scanning and stays on the active channel. This
allows user to listen and talk to other user on that channel
without changing the channel. After the communication
ends, the radio waits for 3 seconds before resuming scan.

Select A Scan List
The following steps explain how to select a scan list:

Press and navigate to SCAN.

Press and use or to scroll
through the Scan List.

Once the Scan List is selected, press .

Navigate to SET ACTIVE.

Press to confirm on selection.
The radio displays a to indicate activation is made.
NOTICE:
Only one group is selected at a time to Scan.

Selecting Priority Channel from a Scan
List
The Priority Monitor feature allows the radio to
automatically receive transmission from a member of a
talkgroup with higher priority when it is in another call.
