Operating Instructions
The following steps explain the operating instructions of
cloning radio using R2R:
1 Turn the radios off and prepare the following
equipment:
A fully charged battery on each of the radios.
Two SUC for cloning XT600d Series radios.
2 Unplug all cables (power supply or USB cables) from
the SUCs.
3 Connect the cloning cable with USB Converter, plug
one side of the cloning cable's mini USB connector
to the first SUC and the other side to the second
SUC.
NOTICE:
During the cloning process, no power is being
applied to the SUC. The batteries will not be
charged. Only data communication is being
established between the two radios.
4 Turn the Target radio on and place it into one of the
SUCs.
5 For the Source radio, turn the radio on with the
following sequence:
a Long press the PTT button and the SB2 button
simultaneously while turning the radio on.
b Wait for 3 seconds before releasing the buttons
and you hear a distinctive audible tone saying the
word “Cloning”.
