3. When the search is complete, the Broadcast Search window closes, and the NPorts that were
located are displayed in the right pane of the Administrator window.
For the example shown here, NPort Administrator found 4 NPort Serial Device Servers on the
LAN. As you can see, 2 of the 4 NPorts have password protection, which is indicated by Lock
under Status.
To configure one of the listed NPorts, place the cursor over the row displaying that NPort’s
information, and then right click.
ATTENTION
Before modifying NPort 5600’s configuration, use Broadcast Search to locate all NPort 5600s
connected to the LAN, or use Specify by IP Address to locate a particular NPort 5600.
