To Install the cables and lever:
7. Attach the cables to the upper chute by following the
procedures described in the upper discharge chute
(remote controlled) section of this chapter.
8. Attach the cables to the control lever.
9. Slide the spacer into the control lever.
10. Install the control lever into one of the housing
halves.
NOTE: The carriage bolt can be inserted through the hole
in the housing to align the spacer and the control
lever.
11. Set the cable jacket ends into their pockets in the
housing half.
12. Install the second housing half, ensuring that the
cable jacket ends are properly seated.
See Figure 4.32.
13. Install the control housing onto the handle bar.
14. Test run the snow thrower in a safe area before
returning it to service.
