7.9.1 Fuel filter – Replacement
Preconditions
☑ Engine shut down and starting disabled.

WARNING
Fuels are combustible.
Risk of fire and explosion!
• Avoid open flames, electrical sparks and ignition sources.
• Do not smoke.
Replacing fuel filter
1. Remove easy-change filter using the filter
wrench.
2. Clean sealing surface on filter head.
3. Slightly lubricate seal on the easy-change
filter (arrow).
4. Screw on the easy-change filter by hand
until the seal makes contact and tighten fin‐
ger-tight.
5. Replace further easy-change filters in the
same way.
6. Vent fuel system (→ Page 97).
