Setting Passwords
Upon successful execution of this command, the MultiConnect IP will return an OK or an error
message.
Command:
# user password <username> <password>
Example:
# user password user1 user1
OK
Deleting Users
Upon successful execution of this command, the MultiConnect IP will return an OK or an error
message.
Command:
# user delete <username>
Example:
# user delete user1
OK
Notes
PPP is enabled on the modem port
PPP interface is the IP-enabled interface in MultiConnect IP
All IP-enabled services can be used only after the PPP link is up with an IP Address
In the event of a PPP link down, SMTP and POP3 requests can trigger the PPP link
establishment and termination
