Scenario 2 – Serial Tunneling in Transparent
Mode
In this scenario, two MultiConnect IP modules in transparent mode aid in the communication between two
serial devices that are connected to the RS-232 interface (S0) of the MultiConnect IP modules. Serial
tunneling is achieved in the transparent mode where raw data is communicated.
