Scenario 4 – Serial Tunneling Mode
The scenario shows a serial tunnel established between two serial devices (Serial Device-1, Serial
Device-2) using two MultiConnect IP modules, which are located apart geographically. Once the PPP link
is up with an IP address on S1, the dial-in session can occur.
The Serial Devices then communicate to each other across the MultiConnect IP modules.
