How to Test Your Blood Glucose Level

Hold the MyStar Sylkfeel® lancing
device  rmly against the side of the
 ngertip, with the cap resting on
the  ngertip (Note: the harder you
press MyStar Sylkfeel® lancing device
against the  nger the deeper the
puncture). Press the release button
to get a blood sample.
Obtain a Drop of Blood
• Squeeze from the base of your
 nger up towards the tip until a
small blood drop forms. Do not
squeeze the lanced area directly.
If necessary, set the lancing device to
a deeper setting or use a larger lancet
to produce enough blood.
