This screen prompts the user through the steps to prepare the test strip. A mer displays
how much me is remaining to complete the steps. There are 15 seconds to complete
the following four steps:
1. Dip the reagent strip into the urine specimen, we ng all pads.
2. Immediately remove the strip from the urine. Drag the edge of the strip against the
side of the specimen container.
3. Blot by pressing the edge of the strip to the paper towel to remove excess urine.
4. Place the strip on the test table.
Cau on: Do not lay the pads on the paper towel or cover the pads with the paper
towel. Place the reagent strip into the channel of the table with the test
pads facing up. Slide the strip to the back of the channel.
A er 15 seconds, the test table and strip will automa cally be pulled into the analyzer.
Note: The Reac f Touch Urine Analyzer will perform an automa c calibra on each
me a test is run.
Cau on: Do not push or pull the test table. Be sure not to move or bump the table
while the instrument is calibra ng.
When the mer is fi nished, the Results screen will appear. The test results will be dis-
played and the test table will be extended so the urinalysis strip can be removed.
