Changing Ba eries
The Reac f Touch Urine Analyzer is designed to run the maximum number of tests
(approximately 100 with the printer OFF) from a set of ba eries. To achieve this, the
Power Save feature is always ac vated when the instrument is powered by ba eries.
If the instrument is not used for 3 minutes when ba ery-powered, it will automa cally
power down.
A ba ery power icon is shown in the bo om right corner of the ini al screen when the
analyzer is being powered by ba eries. The number of segments displayed represents
the amount of power remaining in the ba eries.
When the power is reduced, but tes ng can con nue, an advisory message will be
displayed on the ini al screen. The analyzer will stop tes ng a er only 10 strips when
the power is low.
Cau on: If you do not change the ba eries and the level becomes too low to power
the analyzer, the error will become cri cal and all selec on areas on the
screen will be disabled un l the ba eries are replaced.
