8-124 Configuring a Second HDD for RAID
Failed Disk Replacement Procedure
1. Replace the defective HDD (hot plug).
2. Run the Intel® Rapid Storage Technology Manager.
Start → All Programs → Intel → Intel® Rapid Storage Technology
3. The Status screen indicates the failed disk. Select Rebuild to another disk.
4. Select Rebuild to confirm the operation.
