Chapter 1 Installing OS
- Follow the steps below when enabling an SSH connection to the ESXi host.
1. Select [Troubleshooting Options] and press Enter.
2. Select [Enable SSH] and press Enter to change the setting from [SSH is Disabled] to [SSH is
Enabled].
3. Press ESC to return to the [System Customization] menu.
Press ESC to log out.
Important Do not change the network configuration that is created at installation of the ESXi
host before the setup procedure described in this guide completes.
If you need to add standard switch, perform it after setup process completes.
Note Set [Configuration Management Network] and [Troubleshooting Options] according to your
environment.
Tips If IPv6 is disabled in Configure Management Network, the system reboots automatically.
(Reboot confirmation message will not appear.)
