- 03.20.07 or higher: Enter Voice Mail Record Key code 17 + the mailbox number.

The mailbox number can be your own, a co-worker’s, or any valid Subscriber Mailbox.
- You can optionally use the RECORD soft key instead.
✔By default, a keyset does not have a Voice Mail Record Key.
Step 3 Enable the Conversation Record Beep and Warning.
3.1 1808 - IntraMail Subscriber Mailbox Options: Recording Conversation Beep on page 204.
- If enabled (Y), all parties on a call being recorded will hear the voice prompt Recording
followed by a beep when the extension user initiates Conversation Record. If disabled (N),
the voice prompt and beep will not occur.
- Disabling this option may be interpreted as an invasion of privacy.
✔By default, this option is enabled (Y).
Step 4 Set the maximum length of recorded conversations.
4.1 8004: IntraMail System Options: Subscriber Message Length on page 213.
- The length of a recorded conversation is 10 times this interval.
- The range for this option is 1-4095 seconds.
- Since the Conversation Record time cannot exceed 4095 seconds, any settings in this
option larger than 409 have no effect on the length of recorded conversations.
✔By default, this option is 120 seconds. This means the default length of recorded conversa-
tions is 1200 seconds (20 minutes).
