1 - 408 Direct Inward Line (DIL)
o Pressing the flashing Answer Key puts the first call on hold and answers the second incoming call. This
can be repeated until all incoming calls are answered.
o If you have Ringing Line Preference, lift the handset to answer the call.
o If you do not answer the call, it may ring other extensions (i.e., the DIL No Answer Ring Group).
To place a call on your Direct Inward Line:
1. Lift the handset.
2. At the multiline terminal, press the line key for DIL.
- OR -
Dial 805 and the DIL trunk number (e.g., 005).
- OR -
Dial 804 and the DIL trunk group number (e.g., 05).
- OR -
Dial 9 for Trunk Group Access.
3. Dial the number.
