2.1 General
WARNING! High vacuum.
A high vacuum system creates a powerful sucon that may cause serious eye injury or
hearing impairment. Persons who will be using FlexPAK 800/1000, or may come in contact
with FlexPAK 800/1000, are to be informed about this risk.
WARNING! Risk of personal injuries.
Never look into the exhaust air duct. Debris and parcles coming out of the outlet may
cause eye injuries.
WARNING! Risk of electric shock.
Personnel operang FlexPAK 800/1000 need to pay special aenon to avoiding discharge
of stac electricity.
NOTE! Only authorized personnel are allowed to have access to this unit.
3 PLC messages
The following secons show the dierent status, warning and alarm messages that can be
seen in the PLC display.
3.1 Status messages
The following status messages give informaon about what mode the unit is in or what
roune service is being performed. See gure 1 for a chart that shows how FlexPAK moves
between dierent unit modes.
3.1.1 Nederman FlexPAK O (O mode)
The unit is in O mode, which is also the unit’s start menu. The unit can also go into O
mode if something is wrong, such as if an alarm is acvated. The pump motor is o, there is
no vacuum, the Filter Cleaning Valve (FCV) is closed, and the unit cannot be acvated by a
pilot signal.

TimeToService: The amount of me unl next scheduled service. The
default seng is 2000 hours. See Secon ‘4.2.3 H-Meter 1’.
3.1.2 FlexPAK Standby (Standby mode)
The unit is in Standby mode. The pump motor is o, there is no vacuum, the FCV is closed,
and the unit is waing for a pilot signal to go into Running mode.
