2.1 General
WARNING! High vacuum.
A high vacuum system creates a powerful sucon that may cause serious eye injury or
hearing impairment. Persons who will be using FlexPAK 800/1000, or may come in contact
with FlexPAK 800/1000, are to be informed about this risk.
WARNING! Risk of personal injuries.
Never look into the exhaust air duct. Debris and parcles coming out of the outlet may
cause eye injuries.
WARNING! Risk of electric shock.
Personnel operang FlexPAK 800/1000 need to pay special aenon to avoiding discharge
of stac electricity.
NOTE! Only authorized personnel are allowed to have access to this unit.
3 PLC messages
The following secons show the dierent status, warning and alarm messages that can be
seen in the PLC display.
3.1 Status messages
The following status messages give informaon about what mode the unit is in or what
roune service is being performed. See gure 1 for a chart that shows how FlexPAK moves
between dierent unit modes.
3.1.1 Nederman FlexPAK O (O mode)
The unit is in O mode, which is also the unit’s start menu. The unit can also go into O
mode if something is wrong, such as if an alarm is acvated. The pump motor is o, there is
no vacuum, the Filter Cleaning Valve (FCV) is closed, and the unit cannot be acvated by a
pilot signal.

TimeToService: The amount of me unl next scheduled service. The
default seng is 2000 hours. See Secon ‘4.2.3 H-Meter 1’.
3.1.2 FlexPAK Standby (Standby mode)
The unit is in Standby mode. The pump motor is o, there is no vacuum, the FCV is closed,
and the unit is waing for a pilot signal to go into Running mode.
