Specify Mobile Broadband Connection Settings
Before you can specify these settings, you must set the gateway’s Internet connection mode
to Always use 3G Mobile Broadband connection. See Change to 3G Broadband
Connection Mode on page 23.
Note: To connect to the 3G network, you must have an active broadband
service account. Contact your service provider for your user name,
password, and the 3G network name.
 To specify mobile broadband connection settings:
1. Launch a web browser from a computer or wireless device that is connected to the
network.
2. T
ype http://routerlogin.net or http://10.0.0.2.
A login screen displays.
3. Enter the gateway user name and password.
The user name is admin. The
default password is admin. The user name and password
are case-sensitive.
The BASIC Home screen displays.
4. Select ADV
ANCED > Setup > Mobile Broadband Settings.
5. Enter the user name and password for your broadband service account.
6. (Optional) Select or clear the check boxes to customize the connection and roaming
settings.
7. Click the Apply button.
Your settings are saved.
