Static IP Address
Internet service with a static IP address is uncommon. If the Setup Wizard detects this type of
Internet connection, you are prompted to enter the following information:
• The Internet service provider’s recommendation for one of these settings:
- Use Static IP Address
- Use IP Over ATM (IPoA — RFC1483 Routed)
• Your assigned IP address, subnet mask, and the IP address of your ISP gateway
• The IP address of your ISP primary DNS server and a secondary DNS server address if
one is available
Your Internet service provider can provide this information to you.
Manually Specify an Internet Connection with a Login
 To configure an Internet connection with a login:
1. Launch a web browser from a computer or wireless device that is connected to the
network.
2. Type http://routerlogin.net or http://10.0.0.2.
A login screen displays.
3. Enter the gateway user name and password.
The user name is admin. The default password is admin. The user name and password
are case-sensitive.
The BASIC Home screen displays.
