4.5.3 ULTRASONIC LABEL SENSORS

Used for clear or paper labels.

Setting

• Insert the web with labels.

• Press the teach button on the sensor – green LED flashes

• Pull the web through under slight tension so that 5 to 10 labels pass through the

sensor.

• Press the green button again – green LED illuminates continuously.

• Teach is now complete.

• Pull the web through again and ensure the sensor orange output light goes ‘ON’

at the gaps and ‘OFF’ at the labels.
