Choose the length of the shutter release delay in self-timer
mode (0 55).
Choose how long the camera will wait for a signal from the
remote before cancelling delayed or quick-response remote
mode and restoring single-frame or continuous mode (0 56).
Choose shorter times for longer battery life.
If On is selected, a beep will sound when the camera focuses in
single-servo AF (AF-S or when shooting stationary subjects in
AF-A focus mode), while the release timer is counting down in
self-timer and delayed remote modes (0 53, 55), or when a
photograph is taken in quick-response remote mode (0 55).
The beep will not sound when Off is selected.
The current setting is shown in the information display: 3 is
displayed when the beep is on, 2 when it is off.
