Frame a photograph in the
viewfinder.
Position the main subject in the
AF-area brackets.

Press the shutter-release
button halfway to focus.
The in-focus indicator (

) will
appear in the viewfinder when the
focus operation is complete.
You can also focus by pressing the AF-ON button.
