Service Note: Removing both the left and right side brooms and both front chassis corner rollers
will allow easier access to the mounting hardware on the four front scrub deck
support arms.
Warning! Safely jack up the front of the machine 1-1/2 to 2 inches (38-50 mm) and put a wood
block (2 x 4) underneath the drive wheel for a safety support.
11. Run the Scrub Deck Actuator to its retracted (up) position to get the clearance needed to pull the scrub
deck assembly out from underneath the machine.
Service Note: Connect the power cord adapter (p/n 56407502) to the actuator motor and use the
adapter to shorten the Scrub Deck Actuator length. Hold the Spring Housing Assembly
when you run the Scrub Deck Actuator motor to maintain the correct retracted and
extended position settings. See the Lift Actuator Adjustment section in this manual
for additional details.
An alternate method to get the needed actuator clearance to slide the deck out from
under the machine would be to safely jack up the front of the machine.
Warning! Support both front corners with adequate jack stands or blocking before working
underneath the machine.
12. Carefully slide the complete deck assembly out from underneath the machine from either side.
Note: Observe the position of the disconnected lift actuator housing and swing it to the rear to clear
its mount bracket pocket.
