When the baery charger is plugged in, the machine will display the type of baery charge prole in use as well as charg-
ing progress. SC750 and SC800 models use the LCD display to describe the charging prole in words, and a baery icon
with 0 to 5 bars, to show the charging progress. SC750 ST and SC 800ST models use the Red, Yellow and Green baery
indicators to show charging progress and one of the other indicators to idenfy which charging prole is being used.
• Vacuum LED = Wet generic 25A
• Scrub Hi LED = AGM Discover 25A
• Scrub Low LED = Gel Excide 25A
• Soluon Hi LED = Gel AGM generic 25A
• Soluon Medium LED = Wet generic 15A
• Soluon Lo LED = Gel AGM generic 15A
On machines with the oponal on-board baery charger, the baery charger and on-board communicate with one an-
other on the WHT/BLU wire that runs between them. (This same circuit is also used for the brush head actuator posion
2 switch input) Each me the baery charger is plugged in, the charger contacts the controller by sending out a posive
voltage on the communicaon wire to nd out what kind of baeries are on the machine. It needs to know this in order
to use the correct charging prole. The controller responds and provides the baery type informaon it has stored in
memory. The charger then tells the controller which charging prole it will use and begins charging the baeries. See the
Control System, Program Opons secon for informaon on how to tell the controller what kind of baeries are used in
the machine. If the charger is unable to communicate with the controller it will use the prole for a wet baery at a 25
Amp rate as a default.
