opposite end of the battery
until it snaps into place.
5. Insert the catches of the back
cover in the corresponding
slots in the phone and slide the
cover until it locks into place.
■ Charging the battery
• Do not charge the battery
when the cover of the phone is
removed. See also Battery
statements on page 56.
• When the battery level is low
and only a few minutes of
operating time remain, a
warning tone will sound. If you
do not connect the phone to a
charger when the battery level
becomes too low for operation,
the phone switches itself off.
1. Connect the charger cable to
the socket on the left side of
the phone.
2. Connect the charger to an AC
wall outlet. The battery
indicator bar starts scrolling.
• Charging the battery
supplied with the phone
may take up to 3 hours 45
minutes when using the
ACP-7 charger.
•If Not charging is displayed,
wait for a while, disconnect
the charger, plug it in again,
and retry. If charging still
fails, contact your dealer.
3. When the battery is fully
charged, the bar stops
scrolling. Disconnect the
charger from the AC outlet and
the phone.
Note that you can use the phone
during charging.
