Picture messages
(Menu 2-4)
You can send and receive text
messages that contain pictures
(network service). Note that:
• Each picture message is made
up of several text messages.
Therefore, sending one picture
message may cost more than
one text message.
• Since picture messages are
saved in the phone, you cannot
view them if you use the SIM
card with another phone.
Note: This function can
be used only if it is
supported by your
network operator or
service provider. Only
phones that offer picture
message features can
receive and display
picture messages.
When you receive a picture
message
To view the message immediately,
press (View). You can save
the message by pressing
(Save) or delete it by pressing
twice.
To view the message later in this
menu: Press and then
(OK) to save the message.
Sending a picture message
Within this menu, scroll to a
picture message and press
(View). Press (Options) and
select Edit text. Write the
message. To view the whole
message, press (Options)
and select Preview. To send the
message, press (Options)
and select Send.
Templates (Menu 2-5)
You can view, edit, or erase the
preset messages (’templates’) that
can be used for writing a message.
Scroll to the desired template and
press (Read). To edit or erase
the template, press
(Options) and select the desired
function.
When editing a template, pressing
(Options) allows access to a
further set of functions, including
Send and Save template.
You can create a template from
scratch by selecting one of the
empty templates at the end of the
template list. Press
(Options), select Edit, and type in
the template text. Press
(Options) and select Save
template.
