Options - Type of view: You
can select the way the saved
phone numbers and names are
displayed.
Options - Memory status:
Shows how many names and
phone numbers can still be

in the phone and the SIM card.
Speed dials: You can set the
desired number key (2 to 9) to
work as a speed dialling key.
Scroll to the desired key, press
(Assign), and select a
name or phone number. See
also Speed dialling on page 19.
Voice tags: You can dial a
phone number by saying one or
more words that you have
attached to it as a ’voice tag’.
The voice tag can be, for
example, a name, and you can
record a voice tag to eight
phone numbers in the phone
book. You can also listen to,
change, or erase the recorded
voice tags.
To record a voice tag: Select
Add voice tag, select the
desired name or phone number,
and press (Start). Hold
the phone in the normal
position and say clearly the
word(s) you want to record as a
voice tag.
To make a call using a voice
tag: In standby mode, press
and hold (Menu). Say the
desired voice tag clearly while
you hold the phone in the
normal position near your ear.
The phone plays the voice tag
and dials the corresponding
phone number. Note that the
phone must be in a service area
with adequate cellular signal
strength.
If no match for the voice tag is
found or recognised, press
(Yes) to say the voice tag again
or to return to standby
mode.
If you use the HDD-2 headset,
press and hold the remote
control button located in the
microphone part of the headset
until you hear a short tone. Say
the voice tag clearly.
Note that voice tags are stored
in the phone and removed
when you insert another SIM
card into the phone.
Before using voice dialling, note
that:
Voice tags are not language
dependent. They are dependent
on the speaker's voice.
