Modes of operation
The functional behavior can be divided into seven different states. Since the UEMEK controls the regulated
power distribution of the phone, each of these states will affect the general functionality of the phone:
• No supply
• Backup
• Power off
• Reset
• Power on
• Deep sleep

This device uses the BL-4B battery, a 700 mAh minimum Li-ion battery. It has a three contacts interface and
it is based on a blade type connector.

Battery connector
The battery connector is a blade connector. It has three blades;
• BSI (Battery size indicator)
• GND (Ground)
• VBAT (Battery voltage)
The BSI line is used to recognize the battery capacity by a battery internal pull down resistor.
