Your set’s display
Idle screen format
The M2016S Secure Set can be equipped with a 2-line by 24-character
display module. The idle display, as shown below, gives the current date
and time.
When you go off hook, the time and date disappear and information about
your call is displayed.
Calling party information
When your set rings, information about the incoming call is displayed. The
telephone number and name of the person calling appears in the display
module if this information is available.
Adjustable features
An additional function of the display is using it to show information when
programming various functions. By pressing the Program key, you can
scroll through different adjustable features on your set. Use the Volume
Control bar to scroll.
You can select the following adjustable features:
