If the person you are calling is not available:
On-hook dialing
On-hook dialing enables you to dial a number without lifting the handset.
To use On-hook dialing:
2. Dial the DN that you want to transfer the
call to.

3. When you hear ringing or after you talk
privately to the person you are
transferring the call to, press Transfer
again.
The LCD indicator goes from steady to
off.

Press the DN key beside the flashing LCD
indicator
º. You will be reconnected with
the call.

2. Upon hearing dial tone, dial the number.
