Top of Form (TOF)
Important!
If you turn the platen knob when the printer is on,
the Top of Form misaligns. Always shut the printer off
before turning the platen knob.
Note: The factory default setting for the Top of Form
(where the printing should begin) is 11/12”
(23.28 mm) down from the top of the page.
Top of Form sets the print start position for the
printer. It is adjustable in increments of 1/180 of an
inch.
The rst line prints at the default top of form.
Top of Form (TOF) and Forms Tear-Off
Note: Your software may print the rst line of print
above or below where TOF is set. You may
need to adjust the TOF to meet your software’s
requirements.
The Top of Form and Forms Tear-Off settings of
your printer interact. How you set the Top of Form
depends on whether Forms Tear-Off is ON (set to
500 ms, 1 sec, or 2 sec) or OFF (the factory default
setting).
