Turn the take-up knob in the direction of the
arrow to take up any ribbon slack.

CAUTION!
Do not turn the knob counterclockwise as the
ribbon may jam.
Make sure that the ribbon is not twisted or
damaged when it goes through the gap between
the printhead and the ribbon guide.
Set the Paper Thickness lever to match the paper
being used.
Close the access cover and turn the printer back
on.
CAUTION!
If ribbon should contact the eyes:
Flush eyes with large quantities of water for 15
minutes, keeping eyelids open with ngers. Seek
medical attention.
If ribbon should contact the skin
Wash thoroughly with soap and water.
