3. MFP INSTALLATION
<TEL cable/ Line Cable Connection>
Prepare the TEL cable and Line cable.
Connecting for Fax only
(1) Plug one end of the [Telephone cable] into the [LINE connection] of the machine
and the other end into an [Public Line (Analog)].

Note! Connect telephone cable to [LINE connection] without fail. Never connect it to
[TEL connection].
(2) Check to be attached the supplied connector cover to the TEL connection of the MFP.
Connecting for Fax and Telephone
(1) Plug one end of the [Telephone cable] into the [LINE connection] of the machine
andtheotherendintoanactivetelephonejack.

(2) Plug the external telephone's cable into the [TEL connection] of the machine.
When you connect the telephone to the machine and use it, remove the [Telephone
connector cover] into the [TEL connection] and then connect it.
