Checking/clearing counts by optional devices
Description
Displays or clears the counts of DP or finisher.
Purpose
To check the use of DP and finisher. Also to clear the counts after replacing consumable parts.
Method
1. Press the start key.
2. Select the device, the count of which is to be checked. The count of the selected device is displayed.

1. Select the item to be cleared.
To clear the counts for all, press the clear key.
2. Press the start key. The count is cleared.
Completion
Press the stop key. The screen for selecting a maintenance item No. is displayed.

Setting of deflection for feeding from DP
Description
Adjusts the deflection generated when the DP is used.
Purpose
Use this mode if an original non-feed jam, oblique feed or wrinkling of original occurs when the DP is used.
Setting
1. Press the start key.
2. Select the item to be adjusted.
3. Press the system menu key.
4. Place an original on the DP and press the start key to make a test copy.
5. Press the system menu key.
6. Change the setting value using the +/- or numeric keys.
The greater the value, the larger the deflection; the smaller the value, the smaller the deflection.
If an original non-feed jam or oblique feed occurs, increase the setting value. If wrinkling of original
occurs, decrease the value.
7. Press the start key. The setting is set.
Completion
Press the stop key. The screen for selecting a maintenance item No. is displayed.
