SETUP from the Operator Console
Introduction
The printer’s setup is used for changing the factory configuration parameter settings. Some
parameters are used for specializing the machines or an option installed and must not be
changed.
When you prepare to change the parameters using the setup, make sure that you are fully
aware of all consequences of the changes you intend to make. To avoid damaging the
printer, call the customer engineering service (wherever necessary).
How to Access the Setup
The procedure for access to the setup is illustrated in the section Setup and settings and
describes how to obtain the LED sequence for the setup.
If the printer’s front cover is closed (with LED_ setup configuration) the current setup
parameters, the key functions in this mode and the title of the first of the 5 main menus will
be printed, as illustrated in the example below:
