Selecting a registered stereo optical adapter
If a stereo optical adapter has already been registered, select it from the Optical Adapter Selection
screen.
1 Attach the stereo optical adapter to the distal end of the insertion tube, followed by
selecting “SELECT OPTICAL ADAPTER” from “Menu Operations”.
A list of optical adapters is displayed.
2 Select a registered stereo optical adapter and press the [MEAS/OK] joystick.
You will see a message prompting you to check the adapter name and set number.
3 After ensuring that the set number coincides with that of the stereo optical adapter,
select “OK” and press the [MEAS/OK] joystick.
The live image is displayed in a monocular or binocular view.
4 Checking measurement values
After selecting the stereo optical adapter, it is necessary to check the measurement values.
See “Checking measurement values” (page 76) for details about operations.

Checking measurement values
The measurement accuracy may be degraded by loose attachment of the stereo optical adapter
or dirt on the lens components. Use the check tool to check the measurement values before
and after measurement.
1 Insert the distal end of the insertion tube into the stereo optical adapter hole of the
check tool until it touches the end.
