Chapter 5 Menu operations and functions
 Format USB Flash Drive
Use the procedure below to format USB Flash Drive. Executing the format
operation will delete all data currently in USB Flash Drive.
CAUTION
• Never remove the USB Flash Drive during formatting.
• Do not format the optical data media (USB flash drive). If it is done, the initial stereo adapter
settings cannot be set again.
1 Display the thumbnail screen.
2 Press the [MENU/EXIT] button to display the menu.
3 Select and press the [MEAS/ENTER] joystick.
The “MEDIA FORMAT” window is displayed.
4 Select “EXECUTE” and press the [MEAS/ENTER] joystick to start
formatting.
• Depending on the capacity and type of USB Flash Drive used, the formatting
operation can last for several seconds to minutes.
• The display may not show “100%” remaining capacity for the media.
