CAUTION

screen.
Using a new stereo optical adapter (NEW STEREO
ADAPTER)
To use a new stereo optical adapter for stereo measurements, you need to
register the stereo optical adapter in advance by executing “NEW STEREO
ADAPTER”.
CAUTION
• When a new stereo optical adapter is purchased, if the insertion tube is repaired, or anything
else that changes the combination of the stereo optical adapter and the insertion tube, it is
required to execute the “NEW STEREO ADAPTER” setup.
NOTE
• The “NEW STEREO ADAPTER” setup consists of creating the environment data, which is
the measurement parameters specific to the combination of a specific stereo optical adapter
and specific insertion tube, based on the optical data that is the information specific to each
stereo optical adapter model (this data is provided with the Stereo Measurement Set) and on
the white image that is the information on the combination of the stereo optical adapter and
insertion tube.
• The environment data that is created is stored in the internal memory of the main unit.
For 4-mm and 6-mm types
1 Attach the new stereo optical adapter to the distal end of the
insertion tube while the live screen is displayed.
