Chapter 9 Troubleshooting
A message
appears
while using
the high
beam during
inspection.

ILLUMINATION
MODE CAN NOT BE
SWITCHED TO HIGH
BEAM.
The distal end of the
insertion tube is too hot
so the high beam
cannot be used.
Cool the distal end of the
insertion tube to use the high
beam.
ILLUMINATION
MODE RETURNED
TO NORMAL.
The distal end of the
insertion tube is too hot,
triggering the self-
check function.
HIGH
TEMPERATURE
(MAIN UNIT).
PLEASE TURN OFF
THE POWER.
The inside of the main
unit is too hot,
triggering the self-
check function.
Cool the inside of the main
unit to use the high beam.
A message
appears
when
increasing
the light
emitted (to
use high
beam).

an alarm
sounds)
when the
insertion tube
is inserted
into a high-
temperature
observation
object.

TEMPERATURE
(DISTAL END).
PLEASE
IMMEDIATELY PULL
OUT THE SCOPE.
The message prompts
you to stop inspection
because the self-check
function was triggered.
Immediately pull the
insertion tube out of the
observation object.
(Note)
This message will appear
before the atmospheric
temperature of the distal end
of the insertion tube reaches
the maximum operating
ambient temperature.
Message
displayed
when using
battery.
LOW BATTERY.
PLEASE CONNECT
THE AC ADAPTER
OR TURN OFF THE
POWER.
The battery voltage
dropped.
Stop operations such as
recording images, copying,
deleting, or formatting a USB
flash drive, and replace the
battery immediately. Or,
attach the AC adapter.
The image
cannot be
adjusted.
IMAGE CAPTURE
ERROR.
PLEASE TURN OFF
THE POWER.
Self-check triggers
during use and displays
a message.
Stop inspection and turn the
instrument off, then on
again.
