Chapter 4 Basic operations
3 To stop recording moving images press the [FRZ/REC] button.
When recording a moving image is complete, the flashing USB flash drive
indicator disappears from the screen.
NOTE
Never attempt to insert or remove the USB Flash Drive while recording a movie. If the
recording card or USB Flash Drive is removed while recording a movie, movie recording may
stop and display error message.
Recording stops when the file is 4 GB or if it exceeds the memory capacity. A blank 1-GB
USB Flash Drive provides about 30 minutes of recording time.To stop recording, press the
[FRZ/REC] button or the [VIEW] button.
If you select “NO” in the moving image confirmation window, only the still image is recorded
but the moving image is not recorded.
4 Appending a moving image (LX Only)
You can append newly a moving image to the last moving image. Press the [FRZ/REC]
button for at least two seconds (long push) while a live image is displayed. When the
moving image confirmation window shown below is displayed, select "CONTINUE" to
append the newly moving image at the end of the last recorded movie.
"CONTINUE" is not displayed when the USB memory is removed or the [VIEW] button is
pressed. The appended movie is recorded with the same conditions as the previously
recorded movie.
