• After the [ All data will be erased ]
message displays for two seconds,
[ S t a r t ] and [ C a n c e l ] appear.
N o t e s
• Never format the recorder from a PC.
• When the recorder is formatted, all the
saved data, including locked files and
read-only files, is erased.
• After formatting, recorded voice file
names may start from [ 0 0 0 1 ] .
• To restore the function’s settings to
their initial values, use [ Reset Settings ]
( ☞ P.66).
7 Press the `
OK
button.
• Formatting begins and [ F o r m a t t i n g ! ]
flashes on the display.
• [ Format done ] appears when
formatting ends.
