Playing the Onkyo Compact Disc Player
The Onkyo compact disc player connected to the
preamplifier is played from its remote controller.
Note
• Make sure the remote controller is pointed at the compact disc
player when using it.
• Depending on the component, you may not be able to control
with the remote controller.
■ To Select Songs
Press 6 to select the next song or 7 to select the
previous song.
■ To Fast-Forward or Fast-Reverse
During playback or while playback is paused, hold down
4 to fast-forward or 5 to fast-reverse.
For MP3/WMA CDs, fast-reverse only works within the
MP3/WMA file that’s currently playing.
■ To Pause Playback
During playback, press 1/3 to pause playback.
To resume playback, press 1/3 again.
■ To Stop Playback
Press 2 to stop playback.

Press CD 8 to turn on the Onkyo compact disc
player.
Used to set the compact disc player to On or Standby.

The CD playback starts.
