2.6 Automatic Power Down
In accordance to the EU requirements, your receiver has been equipped with
the „Automatic Power Down” function. After a set amount of time, the re-
ceiver will automatically switch to the standby mode. It means that in prac-
tice, if the receiver doesn’t receive any signal from the remote controller or
from the buttons on the front panel, it switches itself o. Depending on the
model, this function is either on or o. You can disable or enable it using ap-
propriate settings in the menu.
2.7 Conditional Access Card
Without a conditional access card inserted, the device can only receive unen-
crypted channels. Insert the card to be able to watch encrypted channels.
The card can be obtained from satellite TV providers.
Insert the card into the reader a gold chip facing up. Note! If the location
of the card reader in your decoder is dierent from the picture above, insert
the card the gold chip facing downwards.
