5.7 THE PULSAR
2
POWER BOARD 391110
This board generates all the DC voltages needed by the PULSAR2 to operate.
The 26Vac-3A secondary of the power transformer (protected by F3 5AT fuse)
is rectified by D5 and clipped by Z1 to generate the Power Fail signal. It is also
rectified by D4 to energize the four switching power supplies that generates
the +5Vdc, +12Vdc and -12Vdc referred to the Signal Ground (the power supply
of The GUI, Control board, U/S and Diathermy board and Sensors board).
The 26Vac-1A secondary (protected by F2 3.15AT fuse) is rectified by D3 to
energize the switching power supply for 24V_PWR, referred to the Power
Ground and used to supply tha various valves of the PULSAR
2
