• Err 15: Minor leakage
Once the lines are completely filled with fluids, the Pulsar2
TM
closes the
irrigation valve to built 300mmHg of vacuum. If this level cannot be
reached, there is a minor leakage in the I/A system:
a) I/A connectors are not fully engaged in the handpiece connectors.
b) The sleeve or the test chamber are not correctly assembled.
c) The cassette is defective.
• Err 16: Weak handpiece
The U/S handpiece is tested at the end of the priming cycle. If it cannot
reach at the least 50m the Err 16 message is delivered.
a) The tip could be slightly loose.
b) The handpiece efficiency is decreased, handpiece should be serviced.
7.2 MAINS SUPPLY RELATED ERRORS
The Equipment is set for 220V operation prior to shipment. If the mains supply
at installement location is different, the equipment setting must be changed
accordingly:
• 230-240V operation:
Remove the fuse holder from the rear panel mains socket (Fig.3 No.13),
remove the grey voltage changer from the holder, rotate and reinstall it
in a such way that the “240” indication appears in the small window in
the fuse holder.
• 100-120V operation:
Remove the fuse holder from the rear panel mains socket (Fig.3 No.13),
remove the grey voltage changer from the holder, rotate and reinstall it
in a such way that the “100” or “120” indication appears in the small
window in the fuse holder.
Replace the mains fuses with the two 4AT fuses supplied.
WARNING:
Plugging an equipment wired for 100-120V operation at 220-240V, will cause
immediate permanent damage to the equipment itself.
Plugging an equipment wired for 220-240V a 100-120V, causes less evident
malfunctions:
Low diathermy power, low US power, the Peristatic pump rotor may no move
up/down for tubing installation
