About Email and Messaging
Use the Messaging application to exchange email and brief text messages (SMS)
with other wireless devices and email addresses that support these forms of
messaging. You can also exchange instant messages (IM) with Pocket MSN.

This chapter describes the various messaging options and walks you through
setting them up, so that you can use your device to send and receive text and
