[EMAIL FEATURE] 1. Start Multi-Function Station.
2. [Device] A [Configuration Web Page] A
[Network]
3. Type “root” as the user name, then enter the
password (feature #155 on page 72). A [OK]
4. Select the [EMAIL FEATURE] from the menu.
5. Select [ENABLED] from the error notify drop-down
list.
6. Click [Edit] next to [DESTINATION].
7. Enter the email address to which error notifications
will be sent and select the types of problems.
R [LIFE WARNING]: A warning indicating that the
toner cartridge or drum cartridge needs to be
replaced soon.
R [MEDIA PATH ERROR]: An error indicating that
there is a problem with an input tray.
R [LIFE ERROR]: An error indicating that the toner
cartridge or drum cartridge needs to be replaced.
8. [Submit]
9. Close the web browser.
