2.1.1.7 Intercept Routing—No Destination
Description
Provides automatic redirection of incoming trunk calls that do not have a destination assigned. The intercept
destination is an operator (tenant/PBX).
Conditions
Intercept Routing—No Destination on/off
The Intercept Routing—No Destination feature can be enabled or disabled through system programming.
If disabled, a reorder tone will be sent to the caller. However, the Intercept RoutingNo Destination feature
always functions for calls through the ELCOT/LCOT, or T1 (LCOT/GCOT) card even when disabled.
If an operator (tenant/PBX) is not assigned:
The extension that is connected to the lowest-numbered port and is ready to receive calls will be the
intercept destination.
Intercept Routing—No Destination also applies to calls from doorphones.
