[Economy]
Turn off the camera or make the LCD monitor go dark while not using the camera to
minimize battery consumption.

[Sleep Mode]
The camera is automatically turned off if the camera has not been used for the time
selected on the setting.
• To restore → Press the shutter button halfway, or turn on the power again.

Settings: [10MIN.] / [5MIN.] / [2MIN.] / [1 MIN.] / [OFF]

Cannot be used in the following cases:
• When the camera is using AC adaptor (optional) and DC coupler (optional)
• When connected to computer/printer
• During motion picture recording/playback
• During Slide Shows

Settings fixed to [5MIN.] in [Intelligent Auto] Mode.

[Auto Monitor Off]
The LCD monitor is automatically turned off if the camera has not been used for the
time selected on the setting.
• Press any button to turn on the LCD monitor again.

Settings: [30 SEC.] / [15 SEC.] / [OFF]

Cannot be used in the following cases:
• When the camera is using AC adaptor (optional) and DC coupler (optional)
• When connected to computer/printer
• During motion picture recording/playback
• During Slide Shows
• [Intelligent Auto] Mode
• While the Self-timer is set
• While the menu screen is displayed

[Sleep Mode] is fixed to [2MIN.] when [Auto Monitor Off] is set to [15 SEC.] or [30
SEC.].
