Other methods of disc play

Random play
[V-CD] [CD]
Remote control only
Plays all tracks on a disc once each in random order.
Preparation: Press [1] then [º] to select disc as the source.
If the disc is a Video CD with PBC, menu play is auto-
matically canceled during random play.
1 While stopped
Press [PLAY MODE] to select
“RANDOM”.
Each time you press the button:
PGM>RANDOM>Original display

2 Press [1] to start play.
To cancel
Press [PLAY MODE] to clear “RANDOM”.
³You can combine repeat play (➡ page 18) and random play.
1 Press [PLAY MODE] to select “RANDOM”.
2 Press [1] to start play.
3 Press [REPEAT] to select “ALL REPEAT”.
Note
³You cannot skip to tracks already played.
³You can search only within the track playing in random play.

Starting play from a specific track
[V-CD] [CD]
Remote control only
Preparation: Press [1] to select disc as the source.
Select the track with the numbered
buttons.
To select a track 10 or over, press [L] then the two digits.
Play starts from the selected track.
³When playing Video CDs with PBC, press [º] to stop the disc, then
select the track number. PBC is canceled.
This does not work with some Video CD with PBC.
