To Bypass a Zone:
• Your installer must enable the Bypass feature for the selected
zone(s).
• Program your user access code to include the Bypass option.
• Ensure that your user access code can access the zone’s area
assignment.
Fire Zones cannot be bypassed.
If a zone’s number is not displayed and your keypad emits a
rejection beep, the zone may not have the Bypass feature
enabled.
You can also enter the 2-digit number(s) of the zone(s) you wish
to bypass in step 3 on page 15.
How do I Bypass a zone?
1. Enter your [
ACCESS CODE].
2. Press the [] key.
3. Use the [
T] and [S] keys to scroll through the zones you wish
to bypass.
4. Press the [] key to bypass or unbypass a zone. The Bypass
icon will stop flashing to indicate that it has been bypassed
and the zone number will illuminate on the left side of the screen
(for zones 1 to 16).
5. Press the []
key to exit. The Bypass icon will remain
illuminated to indicate that the Bypass feature is active.
